Foire de Châlons-en-Champagne 2024: a look back at a special SIQO day
As part of the 78th Foire de Châlons-en-Champagne, the Institut national de l'origine et de la qualité (INAO) organized a day devoted to official signs of quality and origin on Wednesday, September 4. This not-to-be-missed event enabled visitors to discover the various AOC/AOP, IGP, STG, Agriculture Biologique and Label Rouge products, which are the pride of the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions, the guest region.
It's a great day out for all of us!

The INAO, with the support of producers and professionals, offered numerous events for young and old alike:
- Free discoveries and tastings of regional products, meetings with local producers.
- Games competitions to win baskets of products and other gifts.
- The Origin Trail, to discover the different official signs (promises, origins, controls...).
- Gustatory experiences with culinary demonstrations by chef Thierry Landragin (with the support of Interbev).
- The presentation of food/wine pairings from our regions by BTS students at the Avize Viti Campus high school.
- A tasting with the Syndicat général des vignerons de la Champagne, hosted by Franck WOLFERT
