INAO launches a participative communication campaign on SIQOs

This initiative, aimed at the general public, will cover all 5 official signs of quality and origin (SIQO): Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), Traditional Speciality Guaranteed (TSG), Label Rouge and Organic Farming. It will culminate in a quality and origin week from December 1 to 7.

Articulated around a common slogan ("il y a des signes qui ne trompent pas / signes officiels de confiance "), this campaign aims to steer consumers through the proliferation of labels. It includes several components: advertising, print media, social networks and influencers, TV platforms, competitions, actions in supermarkets...

SIQO players invited to join the approach

More than 800 organizations, partners, distributors, institutions and interprofessional networks have received an invitation to participate in this ambitious, unprecedented and necessary action. Indeed, the success of this campaign relies above all on the mobilization of all players involved in promoting SIQO products.

The major stages of the campaign

  • From the beginning of November, communication actions will be launched
  • The first Quality and Origin Week will take place from December 1 to 7, 2024
  • For professionals wishing to join the initiative and relay the campaign, two videoconference information sessions will take place on October 23 from 4pm to 5pm and on October 24, 2024 from 11am to 12pm. Register on the campaign website !
