INAO has chosen to communicate with local elected officials by participating in the Salon des maires et des collectivités locales from November 16 to 18 with the aim of promoting products under official signs of quality and origin (SIQO) in collective catering. This follows the enactment of the 2018 EGalim Law, which calls for at least 50% of the value of meals served in public catering to be composed of sustainable, quality food products, in particular under SIQO, from January 1, 2022.
The program on the INAO stand (pavilion 2.2, stand G11) includes culinary animations with Nastasia Lyard (TOP chef 2020), distribution of guides produced by the institute for collective catering players, and time for exchanges with the public.
