INAO was present at the Grand Marché des AOP-IGP in Bourg-en Bresse on March 18 and 19 [ODG].
After a two-year hiatus, the Grand Marché des AOP-IGP de Bourg-en-Bresse returned to the town's Parc des expositions for its annual event. For its 11th edition, this gastronomic event dedicated to quality products showcased products with official French and European signs of quality and origin (SIQO). Meetings with producers, tastings and entertainment punctuated the event, which welcomed 8,000 visitors.

This year's program included product discoveries, demonstrations and tasting workshops for gourmets.
On Saturday morning, the opening day, Fabrice Sommier, meilleur ouvrier de France sommelier, led a wine-tasting workshop. Throughout the day on Sunday, Clara Galand and Zachary Nicolet, two finalists in the TV show "MasterChef", offered cooking demonstration workshops using the products presented at the show.
As every year, staff from the INAO's Délégation territoriale Centre-Est were on hand to help animate and promote products under quality signs during the 2-day market. Visitors discovered the Institute's missions and the SIQO thanks to the "Parcours de l'Origine" presented in the hall of the exhibition center.
